Gesya Lupetinik
Gesya is an elderly Jewish woman living in the not too distant future. Her husband recently passed away, leaving her to live alone in this one bedroom apartment where she doesn’t get much human contact. She developed a hobby of baking cakes and posting pictures of them on social media in order to get some attention, but really she doesn’t like sweets and usually throws them in the garbage as soon as she is done taking pictures of them.
Gesya gets her food delivered to her by a delivery service, with DONNY her local delivery guy. Gesya tries to give him the cakes that he bakes, but he gets frustrated and annoyed because he’s essentially having her bake all the stuff he just delivered.
Gesya doesn’t speak to her family much anymore, she has a distant relationship with her daughter, Mira, and mostly watches her family from afar through Social media - but never liking anything they post. Her husband Adam passed away about 8 years ago at this point, with the two of them together for 50 years and elements of his presence still linger large in the apartment.
She is a survivor of The Holocaust Part 2. Yes, that’s right somewhere in the not too distant past in our story, there was another Holocaust. And Gesya survived it when she was a little girl. She doesn’t speak much about it or reference it much, but it allows her and Lawbrence both to bond over their respective racial groups persecution and discrimination.

Lawbrence White
Lawbrence dreamed his whole entire life of being one thing, and one thing only; a Toilet Repairman. When he was a boy it’s all he could think about, and he eventually became one when he was an adult. Unfortunately, Lawbrence got hooked on drugs and was sent to jail for pretending to be a Toilet Repairman and asking old women if he could go in their apartments so he could steal their drugs. But, don’t worry, that’s not at all what’s he up to right now. Nah, Gesya, doesn’t even have any good drugs anyway.
Lawbrence just out of jail and has come to Gesya’s apartment to perform emergency repairs on her Toilet so “it doesn’t explode”. This is his first job back, so he’s eager to not mess it up. While he projects an air of confidence, he also fumbles clumsily through everything he does. He’s got this. Or so he wants you to think. As soon as Gesya lets him into the apartment, he doesn’t leave and starts living out of her bathroom.

The bird
The Bird is a large, nude woman who emerges from The Egg. She is extremely tall, with an athletically toned body. But, instead of a human’s head, she sports a powerful SECRETARY BIRD HEAD, with colorful feathers and a long protruding beak.

RheRhe
Rherhe is a woman who Lawbrence brings back over to the bathroom inside Gesya’s apartment for a date. She’s confused at first as to where Lawbrence is bringing her, but he persuades her to “shut the fuck up” and the two of them have sex loudly in the bathroom after the date. The next day, Rherhe is mysteriously pregnant and goes right into labor.

Mira
Mira is Gesya’s daughter. Gesya mainly watches her from afar as it’s clear the two of them have a strained relationship. When Gesya gets a panicked phone call from her mom about some Toilet Repairman living in her bathroom, though, she shows up the next morning to check in on her and see if she’s OK. When she gets there, she discovers THE BIRD and LAWBRENCE and a pool of blood soaking into the floor.

Donny
Donny delivers food to Gesya, which she mostly uses to bake elaborate cakes that she doesn’t really eat. Donny is pretty annoyed by Gesya’s constant bugging and is very cold and short with her. She tries to get him to look into the bathroom and he reluctantly does - but doesn’t see anyone inside.

Two police officers
Two Police Officers Show up at Gesya’s place after she calls the cops to report that Lawbrence is living her bathroom. They show up and don’t really believe her, but when Lawbrence presents credentials that say he’s allowed to be there, they leave telling Gesya she needs to vacate the apartment for safety reasons.

Adam lupetnik
Adam is Gesya’s husband who passed a few years ago. While he is not directly seen in the film until the very end, his clothes and pictures are everywhere around the apartment. As Gesya’s brain loses control, Adam shows up at the very end to say goodbye to his wife.

Young gesya
Gesya is visited by her childhood version of herself while her mind drifts off and loses it’s grip on reality. The Little Girl Gesya is the same one seen in pictures seen earlier in the film, and she shows up at the very end to say Goodbye to Gesya along with Adam.
