The Egg

We need a large, 4 foot tall Egg that is weathered for The Bird to be hatched out of. This is something we need to have built practically so that the actors have something to interact with on set. We should create 3 versions, one main Egg, a Cracked One for when after Gesya drops it, and a third one that’s meant to break apart for the hatching.

The Bird

The Bird is a very tall, slender naked woman who appears at the end of the film and is hatched out of The Egg. We need a model who is obviously comfortable with nudity and then mold a Bird-head mask onto her for the shoot. The Head should be pretty realistic with a moving beak. We could potentially enhance The Bird in post with VFX by replacing the eyes for certain shots, but it needs a practical prop to work off.

Large Bird Nest For BathTub that catches on Fire

At One point in the story, we discover that Lawbrence has built a large bird nest in Gesya’s bathroom. Not only do we have to build this, but we have to set it on fire briefly as Gesya accidentally causes the nest to catch fire at one point.

Apartment Set with Tiny Futuristic Touches

The set should be an apartment that we either build completely or have full control over for the shoot. We should dress it up with some futuristic touches as if some things in the interior were off of a space ship. Gesya’s toilet contains microchips and a computer inside of it, the whole apartment should be overly designed.

practical Special effects

The film requires a few key elements of Effects that should be handled practically with on set special effects.
